New Years Eve Dance

As the year comes to an end please make plans to join us at the clubhouse for an evening of fun, bidding goodbye to the current year, and welcoming the new one!


New Years Eve Dance 8:30 - 12:30

$15.00 per person. Tickets will be sold at the door or by the Ticket Master, Larry Karabin, at Koffee and by the mailroom.

Fifth Gear Band played last year and is back again. They play a great variety of music. Since this will be their 3rd New Year’s Eve with us, there were some requests for a change. I had just taken over as chairperson of this dance last year, so I quickly started searching for another band. Unfortunately I was not able to schedule anyone different for this year. It seems you need to book over a year ahead. So this summer I contacted many bands and have booked a popular Southern Rock band for New Year’s Eve 2025. They are much more expensive, though, as were all the bands I contacted. Residents have expressed in the past that they like to have a band on NYE instead of a solo or duo artist. NYE has traditionally been more of a party atmosphere than just a dance. So the admission price will go up next year, and the Activities Board will probably still have to cover some of the expenses. We will see if increasing the NYE budget will be approved at the next Board meeting.  All the monthly dances always make money, so that should hopefully help us splurge on NYE dances.

Anyway, as always, bring snacks and your own drinks. Ring the New Year in with your Tree Lakes family!
